We are super excited to announce that Johan, Joakim, Gabriel and Victor are looking to welcome their next colleague to Voyados Engineering team who will take technical ownership of a remote development team in India.

About the role

As a Engineering Lead, you’ll provide hands-on technical leadership for a distributed development team, with a strong focus on architecture, quality, delivery, and coaching. While this is not a role where you’ll code every day, you’ll stay close to the code — guiding technical decisions, reviewing solutions, and ensuring long-term scalability and performance.

You’ll work closely with Product Managers, Engineering leadership, and stakeholders to translate customer and business needs into robust, observable, cloud-native solutions, while also helping the team grow through mentorship, structure, and clear technical direction.

The team contributes to several strategically important areas of the Voyado platform, including integrations, onsite messaging, e-commerce integrations, lead ads, and Ratings & Reviews. You’ll also collaborate closely with initiatives around platforms such as BigCommerce, Centra, Shopify, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat and Shopware, acting as a technical bridge between Product and Engineering. This role includes close collaboration with colleagues in Stockholm as well as a remote development team based in India, with onsite visits approximately twice per year.

• Taking Technical onwership of systems and delivery for a remote revelopment team by leadning technical discussions, code reviews and architectural decisions.

• Coaching and mentoring engineers

• Identifying and addressing performance, scalability and reliability challenges.

• Driving thoughtful AI adoption across development and delivery
  

So, who are you?

You’re an experienced engineer and technical leader who enjoys guiding others, solving complex problems, and thinking long-term. You care deeply about quality, clarity, and collaboration — and you enjoy working in environments where technology, product, and people come together.

We believe you bring:

• Broad and deep experience in software development with the ability to read and review code in C#, JavaScript and Typescript.

• Hands on experience with AWS.

• Experience leading and coaching remote development teams in India.

• Knowledge about AI supported workflows

• Excellent communication skills.
