We’re looking for an experienced Head of Accounting to lead and scale our financial operations - driving both our Accounting and Payroll functions. This is a key role in ensuring Voyado's financial health and compliance as we expand both in Sweden and into new markets!

About the role

As Head of Accounting at Voyado, you’ll lead our Accounting and Payroll functions and play a key role in shaping how we scale our finance operations. You’ll be responsible for ensuring accurate reporting, efficient payroll management, and strong internal controls - while also optimizing systems and processes to support automation and growth. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and report directly to our CFO, Tola Lakavivat.

Some of your tasks:

• Lead and Develop Team: Manage, mentor, and grow a team of 4 accounting and payroll professionals, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
• Optimize Financial Processes: Design and streamline accounting and payroll workflows, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and compliance as the company grows.
• Ensure Compliance & Reporting: Oversee tax compliance, financial reporting, and internal controls, ensuring accuracy in financial data and adherence to Swedish regulations.
• Multi-Country Consolidations: Oversee multi-country financial consolidations for operations across the Nordics, Benelux, UK, and Germany, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with local regulations.
  

So, who are you?

Voyado is a dynamic and ever-changing organization. We believe a natural tendency to take responsibility for progress, being result-oriented while keeping things structured, and communicating in a good way with different stakeholders (internally and externally) are keys to success in the context we operate.

Besides these personal abilities, we believe you have:

• 5+ years working in Accounting or Auditing at a firm
• 1-3 years in-house, managing a finance team
• Strong understanding of K3 or IFRS (We use K3)
• Monthly and annual closings

As we grow into new markets, we believe experience in consolidating multi-country entities would be a strong plus. We see it as highly meritorious if you have experience in implementing financial systems, and if you also have experience from the SaaS or similar tech-driven industry, you are probably a great match!
