About the role

As our IT Operations Engineer, you’ll play a key role in shaping the architecture and automation of Voyado’s internal IT ecosystem. Today, parts of our IT environment rely on manual processes, standalone solutions, and integrations that have evolved organically over time. We want to change that. Your mission will be to connect the dots, understand how our systems interact, identify opportunities for improvement, and design scalable solutions that reduce complexity and manual work.

One important focus will be transforming our employee lifecycle management. Imagine an onboarding experience where everything from access permissions and system provisioning to device management happens automatically, with minimal manual intervention. That’s the kind of experience we want you to help us build.

You’ll also explore how automation and AI can support our own Internal IT operations, making processes more efficient, reliable, and scalable.

You’ll join our IT Operations team, working alongside two other IT Operations Engineers, three IT Support Technicians, and an AI Platform Engineer. You’ll collaborate closely with our Cloud Center of Excellence, Information Security, and system owners across Voyado to establish a common technical direction.

In this role, you will:

• Design and develop integrations between our internal SaaS platforms, using APIs, webhooks, and automation tools to create seamless workflows.

• Take ownership of our identity and access management architecture, building scalable and automated provisioning processes for employees joining, moving within, or leaving Voyado.

• Map our existing IT landscape, identify dependencies and opportunities for automation, and help establish a clear architectural blueprint for the future.

• Reduce manual work by developing automated workflows and exploring infrastructure-as-code approaches using tools such as Terraform.

• Explore how AI-powered tools and automation can improve the way our Internal IT team operates.

Who you are

We’re looking for someone who combines technical expertise with curiosity, initiative, and a genuine passion for making things work better.

You’re probably the kind of person who sees a repetitive manual task and immediately starts thinking about how to automate it. You enjoy understanding how systems fit together, challenging existing solutions, and finding smarter ways of working.

You have a strong technical foundation, but you’re not someone who wants to sit behind a screen all day. You enjoy collaborating with people, asking questions, understanding their needs, and translating complex requirements into practical technical solutions.

You’re comfortable taking ownership and driving initiatives independently, while also knowing that the best solutions are built together.

And perhaps most importantly, you have a forward-thinking mindset. You’re curious about emerging technologies, particularly AI and automation, and excited about exploring how they can reshape internal IT operations.

• Several years of experience within IT operations, systems integration, solutions architecture, platform engineering, or a similar field, preferably in a cloud-first, SaaS-driven environment.

• Strong hands-on experience with identity and access management, particularly Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD, SSO, Conditional Access, and automated provisioning.

• Experience designing and building integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, and automation platforms such as Power Automate, Azure Logic Apps, Workato, n8n, or similar tools.

• Experience with scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, or another relevant language.

• A good understanding of SaaS environments, system architecture, and how to build secure, scalable integrations.

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
